United States Marine Corps 234th Birthday Ball Saturday 7 November 2009 Attention all Marines,
This is a call to action . . . or rather an invitation to celebrate!
A Marine Corps Birthday Ball is being planned for all Marines in Utah. Marines and their famlies, friends and organizations stretch from Logan to St. George and from Moab to Wendover. Yet there has been no unified movement to host an event large enough to embrace all Utah Marines in years.
After hundreds of inquiries and requests, a birthday event befitting the Corps' time honored tradition is being offered to all Marines, their families, and friends!
A grand event is planned for Saturday, 7 November 2009. This Traditional Birthday Ball is expected to attract 500 attendees. The location will be the Salt Lake City Marriot Downtown where special room rates will be offered to all attendees.
Cocktail Hour will precede the 1900 Ceremony. Our surprise Guest Speaker is being invited from the ranks of illustrious Marines who have served our nation with honor and distinction. Dinner will be served and an opportunity to show off your dancing skills will follow dessert.
An elegant memento commemorating this event will be given to each attendee.
To execute this gala would normally cost $75 per person. An advanced sale of $50 per ticket is being offered before the 1st of October. Tickets thereafter will be $65 per person until 1 November when sales will close. No tickets will be available at the door.
Make your reservations now. Simply follow the instructions on the enclosed form. Remember that you save $15 per ticket by purchasing your tickets before October.
November will be here before you know it! Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate and share a 234 year old tradition with those who wear the Eagle, Globe and Anchor! Semper Fidelis,
